We strive to see all patients on time for their scheduled appointment. There are times when our schedule is delayed in order to accommodate an emergency. Please accept our apology in advance should this occur during your appointment. We will do the exact same for you if you are in need of emergency treatment. We also set aside a certain amount of time applicable to your specific treatment. Please ensure to give us adequate notice if you are not going to attend, especially if you have a particularly long appointment (some can be up to two hours). In some cases we may take a deposit ahead of time to secure your appointment.
RECALL APPOINTMENTS:
We recommend a check-up and cleaning every 6 months to ensure your dental health and overall oral maintenance. Our priority for you is to have an overall healthy mouth and functioning dentition that is free from discomfort or pain. If there are issues with your mouth that need to be discussed and treated at your check-up appointment, there may be not be enough time to do your cleaning, but we will try and accommodate you as much as possible.
FAILED/MISSED/BROKEN APPOINTMENTS:
An appointment is considered “broken” if:
Patient did not give 24 hours notice for cancellation
Patient did not show up for their scheduled appointment.
We shall always confirm your appointment the day before. We understand that last minute changes may be unavoidable and we shall try to accommodate those changes as best we can. Please understand that when we schedule an appointment, we set aside enough time to do our best work. If you fail to keep your appointment you are depriving someone else of that time. A Failed Appointment fee of CI $50 dollars per 30mins may be applied to your account if 24 hours notice for cancellation is not given or you fail to attend your appointment.
